Good news: The year that I graduated high school has the best SAT scores in over a decade.
Bad news: The score has steadily been decreasing each passing year.
Good news: Looks like we just barely missed the new “Writing” part of the test.
Bad news: I was told there would be no math.
Good news: At least one group seems to not notice that they’re supposed to be failing like the rest of them.
Bad news: SATs are apparently “racist.” Or people just like living up to the stereotypes about themselves.
I, for one, welcome our new Asian Mathematician overlords.

I took the SAT at COS, so I did the writing portion. It’s just an essay question.
I don’t know how people can’t write a response to a question using the language they speak…
Studying statistics of Black people and school makes me sad everyday.
Especially when the “blackest” CSU, Dominguez Hills, only has a graduation rate of 28% within six years. The average for CSUs is 50% within 6 years.
@Mae Hwa
